The residence of the Emperor, temples, pagodas, and gates was heavily damaged during the French Rule. There were around 148 buildings, out of which, only twenty buildings were known to survive. This place is not only rich in history, but it also makes an amazing spot for tourists.

The Japanese installed the Cannon Fort during the World War II. France used this Fort during the war of Indo China. The tourists should visit the trenches and tunnels because of the crucial role that it played in the victory of the war. It is extremely beautiful because of the panoramic views that it provides.
