Long Tan Cross Memorial
The Long Tan Cross Memorial of Vietnam is one of the best memorial sites which commemorate the battle of Long Tan. In this battle, almost 500 soldiers died. This battle was considered to be the longest and one of the most controversial wars that the world has ever seen.
Hue Imperial Citadel
The Hue Imperial Citadel was constructed in the year 1804, in comparison to the Forbidden City of Beijing. It was the home of the Nguyen Dynasty, which was the last ruling dynasty in Vietnam. The residence of the Emperor, temples, pagodas, and gates was heavily damaged during the French Rule. There were around 148 buildings, out of which, only twenty buildings were known to survive. This place is not only rich in history, but it also makes an amazing spot for tourists.
The Japanese installed the Cannon Fort during the World War II. France used this Fort during the war of Indo China. The tourists should visit the trenches and tunnels because of the crucial role that it played in the victory of the war. It is extremely beautiful because of the panoramic views that it provides. It overlooks the Cat Ba Island and the sea landscape.
